Woodambitious manufactures its products primarily using Maple, cherry, Mango, Sheesham, and walnut wood. They are beautiful and very functional hardwoods that produce gorgeous wooden kitchenware & furniture that over time has a rich texture. Bamboo has recently grown in popularity due to its low cost, but by comparison in terms of beauty, it doesn’t compete with these popular wooden products.
To help keep your wood products beautiful for a lifetime of use they must be adequately cleaned and maintained.
- Never soak wood products in water, or let water stand inside of a wooden kitchenware.
- Don’t clean wood products in the dishwasher.
- Never use wood products in a microwave or conventional oven.
- Keep all wooden products at least one meter away from a direct source of heat (heaters, radiators, fireplaces, etc.) and sunlight for long periods of time.
- If you use the wood product every day, the oil layer will get on the wood or absorbed during use, causing the wood to become dry. To maintain the original color of the wood, you should reapply mineral oil or good quality wood preserver every 2 to 3 months. When applying oil, use a cloth as much as possible. We do not recommend microfiber cloths.
- Using warm water, a small amount of mild soap, and a non-abrasive cloth or sponge to clean your wood item.
- Hand Dry
- Never use harsh chemical cleaners as they will dull the surface and remove the protective oil layer, making it vulnerable to dirt.
- Alternatively, the cleaning is carried out with a clean, damp cloth with water, then drying it with a clean lint-free cloth.
If the wax finish is discolored or dusty, use a mixed liquid cleaner or wax specially formulated for wood. Make sure it’s solvent rather than aqueous. Spread the liquid cleaner/wax with a cloth and rub gently to remove dirt and old wax. Clean the floor, dry for about 20 minutes, then dry.
For best results, use cutting board oil first, then butcher block conditioner. Coat each of the wooden bowls and utensils once, leave for at least 20 minutes, then wipe off the excess. New or raw wood surfaces, such as chopping boards and butcher blocks, should be greased with chopping oil. To properly oil the new wood surface, apply at least 2 coatings and soak each coating for at least 1 hour. For thick surfaces, coat 3-4 times. An additional coating allows the oil to completely seep into the wood. After cutting board oil, keep the wood with Butcher block conditioner. The conditioner protects the wood by retaining mineral oil and blocking moisture.

Delivery normally takes up to 10 business days to arrive, depending on the product and regions. In generally, West coast will take 1-3 business days, Central regions will take 3- 5 business days, East coast will take 7- 10 business days.
